3xE Gaming Competition @ Republic Polytechnic!

Gaming.RP brings to you 2 gaming competitions to be held during Republic Polytechnic’s Open House in January 07. This can help to promote the gaming community in Singapore. Details can be found below:

3xE Gaming Competition (DOTA/CS)
– Current secondary
– ITE students
– Students waiting for their ‘O’ levels results

Venue: Republic Polytechnic, Agora Hall 3
Date: January 13 – 14th, Saturday – Sunday
Games Played: DOTA, CS 1.6
No. of Teams: 16 per category
Registration Fee: $25 per team, $15 will be refunded
Max no. of players per team: 6 (5 players + 1 reserve)
Requirements:
Must be current secondary or ITE student, or students waiting for ‘O’ levels results. (Produce student ID for verification)

Prizes:
1st – 5 PlayStation Portables (PSP) for each category
2nd -5 Razer Diamondback + Mantis for each category

Intel Gaming Cup 2007 competition (DOTA)
– Current RP students

Venue: Republic Polytechnic, Agora Hall 3
Date: January 15 – 16th, Monday – Tuesday
Game Played: DOTA
No. of Teams: 16
Registration Fee: Free
Max no. of players per team: 6 (5 players + 1 reserve)
Requirements: Must be current RP student (Produce RP student pass for verification)

Prizes are yet to be confirmed by Intel.

Competitions will be held played using latest Intel powered desktops over LAN network.

    furthermore, i dont see why cs should be played with 1.6!

    i always prefer source =(

  2. RP students can sign-up for the CS competition cause we’ve now decided turn it into a open category. Sorry we dont have licenses for CS Source.
